Musings about Art, Nature and Everyday Enchantment
Hello! I'm so pleased you're here.
If you've known me for a while, you'll know me as Debbie, but I recently decided to start using my given name - Deborah - for my art business. So I thought it was a good time to make a new website and blog.

Me, a tree, and a fast friend
A Bit About Me
For those of you who don't know me (yet), I thought I'd share a little bit about me.
I'm an artist, living and working in a village in Norfolk, close to border with Suffolk. Although I'm a painter, I think the term 'artist' also applies to how I live my life in general - maybe a better term would be 'creative being'. I feel compelled to create beauty - or uncover it where it's been hidden.
That could translate to renovating and decorating old houses, creating a garden from an overgrown weed patch, giving our vintage camper van and caravan a facelift, or rescuing old and unwanted things and reinventing them as useful or decorative objects (or both).
I'd also describe myself as a Nature spirit. I feel a deep connection to the land, its creatures and plants, its history and traditions. I have an open mind about the supernatural too, a sense of beings and realities that may - or may not - exist outside of our awareness. Or just in our imaginations.
Being in tune with the world around you, noticing the small details, seeing the beauty hidden in plain sight. Allowing yourself to dream, to imagine, to think 'what if?'
That's what I call Everyday Enchantment
