Irises and Solomon's Seal overhang the small pond, shading its surface. Even on the hottest of days you can gaze into its cool depths and feel refreshed.
 
I used many layers of translucent glazes to give the feeling of depth and shifting colours of the water and the inclusion of fresh leaves gives a textured feel to the surface of the painting.
 
Unframed with D-rings and cord ready to hang.
