Commissions

If you like my work but want something very specific - size, colour palette or subject, or to fit a specific space - why not commission a painting.

I started my painting career as a muralist and decorative painter, so I know how important it is to really connect with you to find out exactly what you want from a commissioned painting. It's just as important that you feel a connection with me and my style of painting. That way we can both be confident you will love the finished work.

Initial discussion can be done by email, or we can arrange a meeting in person (if local) or by video call.

Every commissions starts with a conversation.

Message me to begin one and we can take it from there.

Art for Walls

Should artwork match your sofa? (Or your curtains, or your bedroom scheme...)

If you want it to!

A large original artwork will be the focal point of a room after all.

I can create a painting to complement both your decor and the dimensions of the space it will hang in.

Murals & Trompe L'Oeil

We usually think of murals as being painted directly onto a wall, but they don't have to be.

Wallpaper, canvas or panels, painted in the studio and then installed into your space are a more convenient option.

There's less disruption - you don't have me on site with paints and ladders for days or even weeks!

The finished mural can be delivered anywhere in the UK, ready for you or your contractor to install or hang.

Trompe l'oeils (which means trick the eye) are often smaller, designed to mimic architectural details or to add quirky and unexpected touches. They can be combined with architrave or other real 3-d elements to further strengthen the illusion.

I can also paint onto doors and furniture.

Memoryscapes

Memories are such complex things - sights, sounds, feelings and associations all combine to transport us back to a time and place in our mind.

I call these paintings 'memoryscapes' because they encapsulate the varied images and associations that make up our memories of a particular time in our lives, whether that's a day, a season or a lifetime spent with a loved one.

They are a unique and highly personal way to commemorate a special event, place or time.

Pet Portraits

I love painting ALL animals, not just the wild ones!
