Frogs and Damsels

Frogs and Damsels

Frogs and Damsels was inspired by watching colourful blue and red damsel flies skimming the surface of my garden pond on a hot summer's day. The frogs in the title are not the croaking kind, but the tiny native lilies known as frogbit.

Many translucent layers allow you to peer into the depths of the water, and the wings of the damsels have a slight iridescent sheen that catches and changes with the light.
